EMMA MOOR -
Emma Williams, daughter of Aaron and Hannah Williams, was born near Metz, Steuben County. Indiana, Feb 7 1866. and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mr Neva Dixon, at Angola, Indiana, Dec 21 1933 aged 67 years, 10 Months and 16 days.
She was united in marriage to Marcus Moor, Dec 24th 1885. To this union nine children were born, Mrs Blanche Kinkade, of Seattle Washington; Lena Scmeiser, of Rush Colorado; Archie Moor, of Richland township; Carl Moor, of Angola; Paul Moor, of Metz; Harold Moor, of Montpelier, Ohio, Mrs Neva Dixon, Angola; Florence Bingaman, Edon, Ohio, and Mrs Dorothy Scott of Freemont, Indiana. Gale Adair, a grandson, grew up in the home, and upon whom she bestowed a mother's care and devotion.
She was converted in a revival held by Wm. and Celia Hagaman, in 1900, and with the husband, Marcus Moor now deceased, united with the Church of United Brethren in Christ, and remained a faithful member until called to be with her Savior.
She was afflicted for several years but bore her affliction with
Christian grace. Her out standing strength of character was her faith
in God, and unselfish devotion to family and home. Her entire life was spent in the Metz community where she enjoyed a wide acquaintance.
Her husband preceded her in death in December 1916. She was the
youngest of 12 children of which only one survives,George Williams of
Angola.
She leaves to mourn their loss four sons and 5 daughters, four
daughter in laws, five son in laws, 28 grandchildren and one great
grand child and many more distant relatives and a wide circle of
friends.
The funeral service was held Saturday December 23 at the Mt.
Pleasant United Brethren Church. Reverend Ralph Morse officiating
with Reverend George Seeple assisting.

The family of the late Mrs. Emma Moor wish to express their sincere
appreciation for the many acts and words of sympathy extended them
during their bereavement.
