Elma Larimore married Annie Lee Norris on 24 March 1918. At the time of his marriage, he lived four miles north of Newcastle. He later moved his family to a farm four miles south of Olney.

Elma J. Larimore, 60, was a native of Young County. He was born in the Fort Belknap community. Elma Larimore was a farmer and ranch most of his life. He was a machine operator for Precinct 3, Young County for a few years.

The first Mississippian Oil well in the middle part of Young County was discovered on his land in 1941.

Survived by Mrs. Annie Larimore; two sons - Philip Larimore and Neil Larimore; one daughter - Mrs. Bob Hannah; one sister - Mrs. Oscar Colley; six grandchildren.
