Mrs. Florence Lapham Cushing, 72 of 3 Orange Ave, Milford Conn.. The wife of the late Percy Cushing, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 1974 in Milford, Conn.. Born in Middletown, N.Y. on April 5, 1901. The daughter of the late Frank and Mary Jane Sperl Lapham. She was a 30 years Milford resident. She leaves two sons, Ralph Cushing of the U.S. Marine Corps and William Cushing of West Haven, Conn.; three daughters, Mrs. James Law of Milford, Conn., Mrs. Martin Evans of Wurtsboro, N.Y. and Mrs. Clayton Krause of Milford, Conn.; two sisters, Mrs. Winifred Lowere and Mrs. Kenneth Benjamin both of Middletown, N.Y.; two brothers, Howard Lapham of Walden, N.Y. and Frank Lapham of Middletown, N.Y.; 11 grand-children and a great-grandchild. Services will be held Friday at 10a.m. in the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, Conn. with the Rev. Irvin Thursby officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
