Services are pending at the Hintz funeral home for John M. Lincoln, 84, 139 Third Avenue N.W., retired farmer, who died at his home early today (Thursday.)
Born July 29, 1875 in Michigan to Mr. and Mrs. John Lincoln, he is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Theron (Ruth) Finch and Mrs. Clarence (Iva) Alshouse of Stanley; a son, Frank of Strawberry Point; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren; three sisters, Pearl Schneider and Mrs. Fred Briggs of Oelwein and Mrs. Bessie Bates of Cadot, Wis., and a brother, Will, of Oelwein.
Body will lie in state at the Hintz funeral home.

Grandpa Lincoln lost his left hand below the wrist after being caught in a silo bin auger.
