Mrs. Conover, who had been in ill health for a number of years, died at the Rosary Hospital, Campbellsville, at 8:30 a.m. January 19. She had made her home with her son, Dr. James Conover on Cherokee Dr. of this city. She was born in Adair County on July 19, 1890, the daughter of Susan Phillips and A.R. Feese. Her husband, S. Ray Conover preceded her in death.
Survivors are her son, Dr. James R. Conover; three sisters, Mrs. Horace Massie, City; Mrs. Cleve Thomas, Corbin; and Mrs. Etta Miller, Grand Junction, Colorado; and two grandchildren, Alyce and Jim Ray Conover.
