Sarah was the daughter of Henry and Nancy Filler Snoots. She was married 1st to George Geller and they had 3 children that lived to adulthood-Henrietta Shirer (died 1890), Capitola Stotts and Willis. George died between 1866-70. Sarah married 2nd Samuel Harress, a farmer who died in 1898. Except for a few years during her marriage to George, when they lived in Moscow, Iowa, she lived all her life in Adamsville. Sarah was survived by daughter Capitola, son Willis, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister Emily Bainter.
