TWO COUNTY MEN MISSING IN ACTION

Jack D. Van Sickle, 20, only son of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Van Sickle, 145 Elizabeth Street, Kingsford Heights, Mich. and Hugo Perttola, son of Matt Perttola, Foster City, Mich., are the latest of Dickinson County men reported missing in action.

SSgt Hugo O Perttola, former resident of Foster City, Mich., whose wife & 2 children now live in Detroit, Mich., has been missing in action over Hungary since July 2. He was a member of the crew of a bomber which failed to return from its 50th mission.

SSgt Perttola has 2 brothers, Arne & Ewald, who are also serving with the United States Armed Forces.
