Entered the service from Missouri.

First Lieutenant Jack E McComb, Service Number: O-781359, B-17 pilot with the 332nd Bomber Squadron, 94th Bomber Group. McComb and his crew disappeared over the North Sea during a night flight. As the 94th had ended its combat missions in April, the purpose of this flight is unknown but it does explain why they were not posthumously awarded Purple Hearts.
