Husband of Alma A. Hall who resided in Johnson, New York.

Jack served as a Staff Sergeant & Radio Operator on B-26B #42-96132, 598th Bomber Squadron, 397th Bomber Group, Medium, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Broome County, New York prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on May 8, 1942 in Syracuse, New York. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a industry clerk and also as Married.

Jack was declared "Missing In Action" when his B-26B crashed 400 yards off Friston, Sussex, England. They were attempting to return on one engine after being struck by enemy anti-aircraft flak. It is believed that Jack parachuted out of the plane over the water.

He was awarded the Air Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters and the Purple Heart.
