Death: Dec. 20, 1943

Max Cisek was born in Chicago but grew up in Maywood, Illinois. He was inducted into the Army Air Corps on April 13, 1942, and sent to Officers Candidates School. He qualified as a bombardier at Childress Field, Texas. It is unclear what happened, but his plane, White Tail II, left formation after a bombing raid on Bremen, Germany.
