elder son of Lt.-Col. P. A. Clive, M.P., and of Alice Muriel Clive (nee Dallas); husband of Lady Mary Clive (nee Pakenham), of Allensmore, Herefordshire. J.P. His father fell in the 1914-1918 War.
Meysey Clive (56083964)

His younger brother Lewis Clive (1910–1938) won a gold medal for rowing at the 1932 Olympics and was a member of the International Brigade in the Spanish Civil War, killed in action in August 1938.
