In the 1911 census of Ireland, the Nono family were living at 41, O'Connell Street, Ennis, Co. Clare.

Nora, his wife, aged 34.
They had been married 8 years, 3 children had been born all of whom were alive.
Sarah, daughter, aged 6.
Cecilia, daughter, aged 3.
Vincent, son, aged 11 months.
Vincent Anthony Nono appears to have joined the RAF as an aircraftsman in 1939/40, and was commissioned as a Pilot Officer in August 1942.
Vincent Nono was the navigator of a Lancaster bomber, of 106 squadron, which was based at RAF Syerston, near Newark, Nottinghamshire, that took off at 23.55pm on 30 April 1943. The plane crashed near Wulfen, enroute to attack targets at Essen, the principal one being the Krupps steelworks. It is thought that the plane was hit by flak from anti-aircraft guns. No member of the seven man crew survived.
It is believed that Vincent was first buried near Wulfen, but that his remains were subsequently moved to Reichswald Cemetery, near Kleve.
