Thomas is the son of Christopher and Rachael (Leech) King. He married Nancy Ann Skinner, March 28, 1793. They did not have any natural children of their own.
Judge Thomas King was one of the first judges in Ohio. He and his wife had two adopted children, William Harrison Skinner (b.1814) and Martha Skinner (b. 1815), orphaned children, relatives of Nancy. They also raised 11 orphans, mostly of his wife's Skinner family.
