--FROSTBURG,MARYLAND -- Mrs. Ethel F. McKenzie, 74, of Star Route, Frostburg, died Thursday at her home. Her husband, Sebastian McKenzie, preceded her in death.
A native of Avilton, Mrs. McKenzie was a daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Hetz) Garlitz. She is survived by three sons, Paul E. McKenzie and Gerald N. McKenzie, both of Star Route, Frostburg, and Jesse A. McKenzie, Bedford, Ohio; five daughters, Mrs. James Maust, Avilton; Mrs. William Warner, Mrs. Norman Pollalo and Mrs. James Vivian, all of Bedford, Ohio, and Mrs. Frank 0. Grince, Frostburg Star Route; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Miller, Lonaconing; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. McKenzie was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Avilton, and the Confraternity of Christain Wives and Mothers. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. A funeral mass will be celebrated today at 9 a.m. in St. Ann's Church by Rev. Conrad Raffel, OFM, Cap. of SS Peter and Paul's Church, Cumberland. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
