"Jennie" had an older brother who died at age 9 in 1850 and a baby sister who died at age 1 in 1870 - the same year she lost her father to the TB he had contracted in the Civil War. About 1873 Jennie's mother moved the remaining family to Fulton Co., IL where a Switzer uncle had settled. She lost her mother in 1881 and a year later - 22 Mar 1882 in Greenbush Twp., Fulton Co., IL- married her beloved Wm Henry Sanford. She and her husband spent the remainder of their days in Fulton Co. - in or near Avon.
