The first of ten children born to William & Alianna "Aly Ann" (Hill) Armstrong of Rocky Mount, Franklin Co VA, late of Franklin, Williamson Co TN, Nancy married Stephen Stockett on 5 Feb 1817 in Williamson Co TN, the son of Noble & Suannah (Beard) Stockett of Anne Arundel Co MD, late of Williamson Co TN. They had seven children, one son and six daughters.

Nancy is my daughters' 3rd paternal Gr-Grand Aunt.
