Warren George "Sunny" Allsop died February 24, 1998 in North Bend, Oregon. Sunny was born in a log cabin in Niter, Idaho, October 22, 1910 to George Tanner Allsop and Eliza Christensen Allsop. He married Agnes E. McClellan, April 25, 1932, later divorced. He married Mable Ashbaker Briggs, May 31, 1968. He is survived by his son, Richard Warren Allsop (Marlene), North Bend, OR; daughter-in-law, Celia Kay Allsop, Bountiful; step-sons, Gene Briggs (Joan); Rich Briggs (Marcia); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by sisters, Dora Smith, Afton Gibbs, Grace, ID; sister-in-law, Artell B. Allsop, Salt Lake City; Betty C. Allsop, Washington. Preceded in death by parents, wife, son, Kent; brothers, Ivor J. "Buss", and Don; Sisters, Mattie A. Christensen, Eva A. Jensen and Della A. Cornelison. He grew up in Grace, Idaho. Was student body president at Grace High School. A graduate of Utah State University. An active member of LDS Church, Sunny served and was served by his Olympus 3rd Ward Family. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 2, 1998 at 12 noon in the Olympus 3rd LDS Ward, 4100 Camille Drive, (2400 East) Salt Lake City, Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5800 So. 900 East, and one hour prior to the services at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the ALS Society, 4568. So. Highland Drive, Holladay, Itah 84117
