Hester was a daughter of Francis Cooke & Hester Mahieu.

She was married on 21 Nov 1644 at Plymouth, Massachusetts to Richard Wright.

They had at least 6 children:
. Adam Wright (1645 - 1724)
+ sp: Sarah Soule
+ sp: Mehitable Barrow
. Esther Wright (1652 - 1717)
+ sp: Ephraim Tinkham
. Isaac Wright (1652 - 1676)
. John Wright (1656 - 1675)
. Mary Wright (1657)
+ sp: Hugh Price
. Samuel Wright (1661 - 1679)

*****************************
Hester (Cooke) Wright was still living on May 9, 1669 when she and her husband Richard deeded property to their son John Wright. The date of June 8, 1666 (mistakenly given as her death date) was actually recorded as a Land Dispute Settlement between Hester Wright, wife of Richard and her siblings over property left to them in their father, Francis Cooke's will, which they settled by accepting equal shares of said property.
