Eva Ray, 73, a resident of the Ogden Manor, died of heart failure Nov. 18, 1992, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. She was born Dec. 28, 1918, in Boone the daughter of Charles and Ida Johnson. She Married Russell Elliott Oct. 17, 1937, in Missouri. On June 27, 1958, she married Everett Ray. The Rays made their home in Pilot Mound.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett, one daughter, four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Ray of Boone and Leo Ray of Ogden; two daughters, Carolyn Bray of Lake Crystal, Minn., and Joyce Crider of Evansville, Ind.; 11 grand-children; 16 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Arlene Kuhlman of Illinois, Pat Cairney of New Mexico and Betty Stolte, Virginia Wirtz and Lorraine Roberts, all of Boone.
