Francis Tate Conoley, the fourth daughter of Rev.M.C.Conoley,Sr.and Nancy Ann Thomson, was nicknamed "Frank" by the family. She became the second wife of Capt.Alston (Aulston?) B.Bonds who migrated to Texas from Missouri. She died as a young woman at the age of 24, giving birth to her only child, a girl.Before dying she asked that the child be named,Francis Conoley Bonds and implored her sister to marry her husband to give her children a home and a mother. Two step children, Jim and John, were children of the first wife of Capt.Bonds,name unknown. Mary Hadley Conoley married Capt.Bonds and reared the children, along with her own, until her death at age 40.
