Lynda was born August 9, 1940 in Artesia, New Mexico to Clyde and Lynette Lee Slaughter. She was the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lee of Loraine and Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Slaughter of Sweetwater.
She married William Lambert Case May 8, 1960 in Seguin, Texas, he preceded her in death on April 23, 1989.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Borkowski of Rowlett; three sons, Randle Clyde Case and William Scott Case of Plano and Patrick Wayne Case of St. Louis Missouri; one sister, Anna Lee Smith and her husband Budje of Blanco; one brother, Michael Slaughter and his wife Karen of Lago Vista; four grandchildren; Jennifer Borkowski, Michael Borkowski, Shaun Case and Madison Case; and one great-granddaughter, Aurora Case.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother, Bobby Slaughter.
