Samuel Gaman passed away on September 4, 1988, at the age of 67. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on August 6, 1921, the second child and eldest son of Louis and Gertrude Gaman. He was a member of Congregation Beth Israel, as well as Temple Lodge No. 4 A.F & A.M.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Gloria; his children Janet Green and husband Quinton, Garry Gaman, and Robin Hershfield and husband Keith; his sister Betty Cabral and brothers Milton Gaman, Morris Gaman, and Irwin Gaman; and five grandchildren.
