Stella Anita Schmidt Jennings Jacque Perham (Granny) entered into eternal life with God, her family and friends on Friday, July 9, 2010. Born August 3, 1924 in Centuria, Wisconsin; she was baptized at 2 weeks old into the
Lutheran Church and lived a faithful Christian life. She spread God's word to everyone who she encountered. She was admired and loved by all. Stella was preceded in death by her parents: Henry P. and Laura Nee Schmidt, her
brothers: Bud (Betty) Schmidt and Hank Schmidt, her sisters: Hazel and Gertrude Schmidt, her husband: Harry Perham (Paw Paw), her son: Jim Jennings, and her daughters: Rena Ivie, and Belinda Sholts. Stella is survived by her loving family: Son, Jerry (Christine) Jacque and her daughters, Candy Moore, Oveida Burton, Shiela Unrein (David), and Sharon Moore. Thirty five grandchildren and thirty four great-grandchildren also survive. Two sisters-in-law, Louise Schmidt and Grace Sidlinger, as well as, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends survive her as well. Stella's legacy and love continues through the above generations and everyone will miss her tremendously. Visitation and celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 13th from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Conroe Funeral Directors, 1504 N. Thompson, Conroe, TX 77301. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 15th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2100 Tickner St., Conroe, Texas 77301 with Pastor David Quail officiating. Interment will follow at the VA Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Road, Houston, TX 77038. Pallbearers: Steve Moore, Jason Ivie, Jimmy and Dylan Jennings, Casey and Chris Dietrick, James Peter Garcia, Philip and David Pesses, Brian Unrien, J. R Dicamillo, Billy Moore, Austin and Christopher Jacque and Brandon Fernandez. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Marks Memorials in Conroe, Texas on behalf of the Stella Perham Memorial fund.
