The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Anna Gerads, age 95 of St. Anthony, will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 1, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Upsala. Anna died Monday at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Wednesday and again after 9:30 AM Thursday at the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Albany. St. Anthony Christian Mothers will pray at 7:30 PM followed by St. Anthony parish prayers at 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Albany.

Anna was born August 16, 1914 in St. Francis to Frank and Catherine (Lehner) Lange. She married Reinhard Gerads on September 25, 1934 in St. Francis. The couple farmed together in the St. Francis area until they retired and moved into Upsala. After Reinhard's death, Anna moved to St. Anthony. She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and the St. Anthony Christian Mothers.

Anna is survived by her children; Don (Janet) Gerads, Coon Rapids; Roger (Janet) Gerads, Albany; Sue (Bob) Wittkop, Albany; Margie Stich, Avon; Kenny (Linda) Gerads, Albany; Mary (Ralph) Stich, Albany; Ann (Bob) Cremers, St. Anthony; and Karen (Jerry) Voller, St. Anthony. She is also survived by her sister, Bertha Henderson, Waite Park; 39 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and her daughter-in-law, Eileen Gerads, Elk River.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Reinhard Gerads, her son, Jim Gerads, her grandson, Chad Cremers, great-grand-sons, Russel LaCroix, Peyton Gerads and Caden Fowler, 11 brothers and sisters and her son-in-law, LeRoy Stich.
