Sudie Margaret Barnett, 89, long time resident of Waco, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 12, at Waco Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mary Walling and the Rev. Billy Spivey are officiating and will be accompanied by vocalist, John Crim. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 11, at the funeral home.
Sudie Margaret was born in Hillsboro, Texas, to the late Hobert and Allie Honeycutt.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lon Pershing Barnett; sisters, Margie Rushing and Louise Scott; and one brother, Wayne Honeycutt.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Doris Nyander and husband, Walter, Mary Walling and husband, Dan, and Donna Colyer; sons, Lon Barnett and wife, Donnie, Dewey Barnett and wife, Josephine, Sammy Barnett and wife, Amy, and Don Elkins Barnett and wife, Kim; 27 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Odis Honeycutt, of California.
