Susan Frances Morris Allen was the daughter of Renley N. Morris and his wife Ann Elam, of DeKalb Co., Georgia. There she married William K. Allen on December 10, 1867. William and Susan had four children in all, but only two were living as of 1910, daughters, Cuma Allen (Mrs. E. F. Shelnutt) and Renola A. Allen (Mrs. John J. Foster). Their two other children were sons William B. Allen and Tipp Allen. Her death notice and funeral notices:

Mrs. Susan Frances Allen

Mrs. Susan Frances Allen, aged 72 years, well-known resident of College Park, died Friday afternoon at her home, 206 East Columbia avenue. Two daughters, Mrs. E. F. Shelnutt and Mrs. J. J. Foster, and two brothers, J. R. and Richard Morris, survive. A C. Hemperley in charge.

Foster and Mr. William Shelnutt are invited to attend the funeral of Mrs. Susan Frances Allen this (Sunday) afternoon, July 9, 1922, at 3:30 o'clock from the residence, 206 East Columbia avenue, College Park. The following gentlemen will please serve as pallbearers and assemble at the residence at 3:15 o'clock: Mr. B. T. Morris, Mr. J. M. Morris, Mr. W. F. Morris, Mr. S. C. Morris, Mr. R. A. Thompson and Mr. Elam Robertson. Interment in College Park cemetery. A. C. Hemperley, funeral director.
