Son of William Joseph and Rebecca Jane Landers Arnold; husband of Mary Elizabeth Langley Arnold; and father of known children, Murtie, Fred A., William Herchel, and Charles Herod Arnold. William was a farmer and carpenter, and also owned and operated a business in early Lake Victor known as the Racket Store.
