Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon at Barlow for Dan Kilmer of Portland who died at his home July 12. Interment was in the Zion cemetery at Hubbard. Rev. Paul N. Roth officiated.
Kilmer, 69, a former resident of the Hubbard area for many years, was born in Kansas, September 24, 1884. He had lived in Oregon most of his life, going to eastern Oregon from Hubbard and now recently to Portland.
Survivors include his widow, Lucille [Steele], one daughter, Mrs. H. J. (Violet) Gooderham of Chester, Cal., five sisters, three brothers, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
