They left Bremen, Germany and landed in New York City, New York. The family migrated to Norfolk and settled in the area and lived the ramainder of their life.
Frank married Ida Roehrke Sept 22, 1903. They had a daughter Freda and son William.

Frank Blank, well known in this vicinity where he lived several years ago, dropped dead Friday morning at his farm home 6 miles south of Norfolk while cultivating corn. Death was caused by a heart attack, from which he had previously suffered.
Surviving besides his wife are a daugher, Mrs. John (Freda) Schnoor, living near Pierce and a son, William, who farmed with his father.
