PANHANDLE (Spc) - Services for Ralph Ray Vaughn, Jr., 27, are pending with Smith-Fox Funeral Directors.

Mr. Vaughn died Monday in Panhandle from gunshot wounds.

He was born Aug. 29, 1956 in Amarillo, and moved to Panhandle in 1974. He graduated from Panhandle High School and attended TSTI in Amarillo.

Mr. Vaughn was employed as a cook at Big Mama's Cafe, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his father, Ralph Ray Vaughn, Sr., of Panhandle; his mother, Glenna Vaughn of Panhandle; a sister Melanie Lanham of Panhandle; a brother, Larry Vaughn of Panhandle, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown of Amarillo.

PANHANDLE - Services for Ralph Ray Vaughn Jr., 27, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Vernon O'Kelly, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Dimmitt and the Rev. Herb Tavenner, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery by Smith-Fox Funeral Directors.

Mr. Vaughn was born in Amarillo and had lived in Panhandle for 19 years. He graduated from Panhandle High School in 1974 and attended TSTI in Amarillo. He was a Methodist.

Mr. Vaughn was employed at Big Mama's Cafe.

Survivors include his parents, Ralph R. Vaughn Sr. and Glenna Vaughn, both of Panhandle; a brother, Larry Vaught of Panhandle; a sister, Melanie Lanham of Panhandle; and grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Brown of Amarillo.
