TURPIN, Okla. —
Ervin Buller, 65, died Monday (June 28, 2010) at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.Ervin Ray Buller was born on Nov. 11, 1944, in Liberal, the son of Harry and Rubeinna (Wichert) Buller.He was a 1962 graduate of Turpin High School in Turpin.He was a farmer and former member of the Turpin school board and of the Beaver County ASCS Board.He was a member of Calvary Mennonite Church in Liberal.
On July 31, 1971, he married Mary Virginia Smith in Emporia. She died on Sept. 29, 2000.Survivors include his mother, Rubeinna Buller of Turpin; son Ryan Buller and wife Kim of Turpin; daughters Suzanne Buller of Tulsa, Okla., and Melissa Buller of Alva, Okla.; and four grandchildren, Carson, Virginia, Abigail and Elizabeth.He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Buller, and brother, Doyle Eugene Buller. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Turpin High School auditorium with Pastor Lou Gomez and the Rev. Stan Lehnert presiding.Burial will follow at Turpin Mennonite Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal.The family will be present to greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers and plants, memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Buller Turpin Education Foundation in care of Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W.
