Watson "Eugene" Parrish, Sr., age 75 of Dalton, departed this life on Monday, in Hamilton Medical Center.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Inez Parrish; a sister, Nadine Dill.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Parrish; sons, Eugene Parrish, Jr., and Terry Stanford; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine Hooker and Russell Hannah, Annette Haney, Gerald and Deborah Goswick, Gail and Forrest Cronan; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Virginia and Herbert Samples, Joan Parrish; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Helen Parrish.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, in the Chapel of Peeples Funeralm Home of Chatsworth with Rev. Matthew Harris officiating. Interment was in the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
