Mrs. Kate Couch, 79, resident of Eagletown, Oklahoma, died at 9:30 P.M. Sunday in Hope, Arkansas, while visiting there.

She was born November 25, 1876 in De Queen, Arkansas; she had resided at Eagletown since 1930, moving from Arkansas.

She married W.Q. Couch October 15, 1891 in Sevier county, Arkansas.

Mrs. Couch was survived by four sons, Chester Couch of Eagletown, Walter and Clayton Couch of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Robert Couch of Strawberry, Arkansas; four daughters, Mrs. Jim Cason of Kilgore, Texas, Mrs. W.C. Adcock of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Cleo Johnson of Eagletown, and Mrs. Allen Downs of Hope, Arkansas; one brother, Harvey Wright of De Queen; one sister, Mrs. Fred Seyfried of Saguache, Colorado; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Eagletown cemetery with Reverend Mitchell Lowery officiating. Arrangements and burial were under direction of Coffey Funeral Home.
