OBITUARY

AMARILLO - Gwen Lee WARREN, 76, of Amarillo died Wednesday, March 31, 2004.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Follett.

Mrs. WARREN was born and raised in Follett and moved from Follett to Amarillo in 1955. She graduated from Follett High School in 1944 and attended McMurry College in Abilene. She married Roy Lynn WARREN on May 22, 1970. She worked for the Amarillo Globe-News as a switchboard operator before retiring from Skaggs-Albertsons after 27 years. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband on May 23, 2003; her parents; six brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include three daughters, Rosemary WOSSUM and husband, Randy, of Amarillo, Glinda POE and husband, Greg, of Lubbock and Eraina Lynn ANDERSON and husband, Roy D., of Wichita Falls; two sons, Bruce BUCHNER and Byron BUCHNER, both of Amarillo; five grandsons, Robbe Ray GARNER and wife, Alison, of Dallas, Bobby Jack ANDERSON and wife, Brenda, of Wichita Falls, Vance DUNLAP and wife, Maggie, and Shane DUNLAP and wife, Sandy, all of Amarillo, and Ricky ALLEN and wife, Ronica, of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Permillia KEARNS of Woodward, Okla., and Glennice STEBBINS of Chatanooga, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice Olivia's Angels.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
