Daughter of Amaniah Clarence Dolby and Lottie Mae [Means] Dolby. Ethel married Hansel H. Reed (b. 1914), son of John Robert Reed and Della [Shepherd] Reed, on 2 October 1935 in Jefferson County, Indiana. Said to have died possibly from complications of pregnancy at the age of 19. Nothing is known of Hansel Reed after the 1940 Census to date.
