Baker, Douglas E. At home peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday June 23, 2010 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Sylvia Rimel Baker for 40 years; loving father of Carol Raimer and Barbara Stelmar (Glenn); dear grandfather of Mark Raimer, Michele Raimer (Brian) Marvucic, Sean (Monica) Kelly, Brandon Douglas Kelly and Zak Mroczkowski; beloved brother of Mary L. Griffith and dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. He dedicated his life to helping others. Mr. Baker was a survivor of the U.S.S. Lexington during WWII. He is our Hero, we will all miss him forever. Services: The family will receive friends in the Great Hall of AMBRUSTER DONNELLY MORTUARY, 6633 Clayton Road (Clayton) 63117, from 3-7pm Sunday, June 27, 2010. The memorial service will begin at 9:30am on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Ambruster Donnelly. Interment Jefferson Barracks.
