Berniece was the tenth child of 13 children born to Frederick Harvey Bahr [see memorial] and Henrietta Dinges. She was also the granddaughter of Harvey Lewis Bahr and Annie Edwards [see memorials] and the great granddaughter of Frederick John Bahr and Margaret Kessler [see memorials].

Berniece married Gene W. Brandt on Sept. 25, 1954 at the Halethorpe Methodist Church. At the time of her death, her address was 14 Rand Road, Woodlawn.

At this time, it is unknown whether they had any children.
