C. W. (Charlie) Nectoux, 96, passed peacefully from this life on earth to his heavenly reward at 9 PM on June 18, 2010.

He was born in Lake Charles, La. to Leona Gillard and Louis C. Nectoux on October 9, 1913.

Charles Nectoux retired from Texaco refining in 1975 after 40 years of service in the pump house where he had many friends and fond memories.

Mr. Nectoux served as president of the local 4-23 OCAW. He was a member of Port Arthur Masonic Lodge #1264 for 60 years and a member of St. Peter�s Catholic Church.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Loraine Carwile Nectoux, his sisters, Violet Greer, May Adams, Gertrude Brown, Grace Radusch, Pearl Land and brothers, Homer and George Nectoux. Also preceding him in death were nephews, Archie Land, Jr., George F. Nectoux, Jr., William (Bill) Nectoux and niece, Kathy Nectoux.

He is survived by his youngest brother, Harry Nectoux and wife, Marcie of Groves, Tx., nieces, Leah Nectoux Elisar and her husband, Benny of Port Neches, Marty Sikes , Sue Hinds, Ann Vick, Martha Lubke, Diane Wadsworth, nephews, Benny Mayo, Larry Carwile, Jerry Dobbins, David Dobbins, Wayne Dobbins, as well as numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Also mourning his passing are dear friends, Ann Boneau, Minerva (Sis) Thornton, and Clara Credeur.

Burial: Greenlawn Memorial Park.
