He was born May 9 1899, son of Simon P and Cecelia (Brandt) Grimes, and married Blanche Rickard. Surviving are his wife, 9 children: Clarence, Robert, James, Mrs Edward Zupich, Frank, Mrs Philip Dotts and (Nevada ) Mrs William Bender; 25 gc, a brother and sisters: Marcellus, and Mrs Leah McMullen, and Mrs Grove.
