Duesler - Jones Wedding
Mrs. Sadie Duesler of Fort Plain, and Herbert Jones of Canajoharie, were married Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church parsonage in Canajoharie by the rev. Charles D. Schwartz, the pastor. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Shields of Canajoharie. Mrs. Shields is the sister of the bride. Mrs. Jones was attired in a green dress and green hat and wore a corsage of yellow chrysanthemums. A reception was held at the couple's home. Reid Street, Fort Plain, following the wedding. Mr and Mrs Jones will leave for an extended trip through the South. The Morning Herald, Gloversville and Johnstown, N.Y., Wednesday, November 28, 1951.

Obituary of Sadie Duesler Jones Fort Plain - Mrs. Sadie Duesler Jones, 80 of Reid Street died yesterday in Little Falls Hospital. She was born in the town of Root, the daughter of Jefferson and Margaret Putnam Lettis. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Fort Plain Methodist Church. She leaves a son, George Albert Duesler, Fort Plain; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Klock, Glens Falls, Mrs. Minnie Pecham, New York City, and a brother Jack Lettis, Gloversville. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday from the Gray Funeral Home with the Rev. Albert Hotchkiss officiating. Burial will be in the Fort Plain cemetery.
