Mrs. Casner was born in Juniata County, April 18, 1886, a daughter of the late John and Louella Kauffman Hockenberry. She was the widow of Samuel H. Casner.
Sons and daughters surviving are, Carl E. Casner and Miss Martha J. Casner, all of Lewistown; Mrs. Ralph (Sara) Saylor, of Huntingdon; Mrs. Hobert (Emma) Rossman and Kenneth J. Casner of Harrisburg; Mrs. Thomas (Anna) Harpster, Lewistown; and Homer F. Casner of Baltimore, Md.
Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lela Peck of Cinder Hill, Burnham; 37 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Casner was a Methodist by faith.
