Frances Burcham, daughter of Edward Burcham, was born in 1644 in Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts. According to the civil records of Boston, in Suffolk County, "Isaac Willy was marryed to Frances Burcham, the Daughter of Edward Burcham, of Linne, 8th June 1660. By Major Humphrey Atherton." Frances Burcham was 16 at the time of her marriage to Isaac Willey Jr who was 19. Isaac died not long after their marriage. Frances Willey was only 18 years old when she married Clement Miner on November 26, 1662. They were married by Captain Denison, Commissioner, in New London. Clement's father wrote in his diary for November 1662: "saterday 22 I was preparing to goe to bostowne with Clement we killed our swine the same day wensday. 26. Clemet was married & I was taken ill in my backe." Clement and Frances Miner had five children, all born in New London according to that town's records:
1. Mary, born January 29, 1664
2. Joseph, born August 6, 1666
3. Clement Jr, born October 6, 1668
4. William, born November 6, 1670, and
5. Ann, born November 30, 1672.

Just a few weeks after the birth of her daughter Ann, Frances Miner died on January 6, 1672/73, in New London according to town records.
Left with several young children, Clementt remarried on February 20, 1673. His new wife Martha Wellman bore one child, Phebe. Martha died July 5, 1681, and Clement married again. His third wife Johanna Minor died October 10, 1700, and Clement Minor died November 8, 1700. Most probably all are buried in New London's Ancient Burial Ground which was started in 1653, but only Clement's stone remains.
