MRS. ROWENA DRANE

Mrs. Rowena Scott Drane, 88, died Saturday at Inglewood Manor in Jackson.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 29 from Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Durant with the Rev. Johnny A. Dinas and the Rev. Doc Jeter officiating. Interment was in Mizpah Cemetery.

Mrs. Drane was a native of Caledonia. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Eastern Star.

Survivors are two sons, Gallie W. Drane, Jr., of Jackson and Richard Bankhead Drane of Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. J.R. Durfey of Canton and Mrs. Walter H. Rayner of Greenville: 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Leon Engelmann, Hunter Cole, Sam Bates, Don Drane, Richard Brown, and Mack Brown.
