Wesley Carnes was born Jan.-8, 1889 the son of Henry & Mary Ann Samantha Stanley Carnes.
This was a very close Family Wesley had 2 Brother's Henry and Barney Carnes and 2 Sister's Mary Ann Elizabeth Carnes Thompson and Ella Carnes Cameron.
Wesley was only a month old when his dad Henry died suddenly, this was a hard time for my Family Mary Ann was left with 5 children to raise alone this might be part of what drew them closer they worked hard on there farm and the Boys would hunt for meat and they raised a garden there Mother Mary Ann worked as a Mid Wife and worked hard to keep her kids together.
Wesley would grow up and marry twice his first wife was Myrtel Massey Carnes they had 5 children born to there marriage 4 who died as infants and one who lived to adult hood,Myrtel died in 1927 while giving birth to twin Girls both of the Baby's died also and are buried in the same Grave with there Dear Mother.
Later Wesley would Marry a second time to Etta Blalock they would have many year's together Wesley died Sept.-8, 1970 in Angelina County Texas.
