OBITUARY :
JOHN RICHARD STOTTLEMYER died suddenly of natural causes at the home of his son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Ira W. Stottlemyer, 1410 North Market street Sunday afternoon at 3:50 o'clock, aged 83 years.

He was a son of the late Willis and Catherine Shuff Stottlemyer and a member of the German Baptist Old Order Church of the Brethren, Beaver Dam. Mr. Stottlemyer farmed most of his adult life, more recently near Yellow Springs, later being employed by the Ox Fibre Brush Company retiring eleven years ago.

Surviving him are the following children: Mrs. Harry C. King, Mrs. Irving Stride, Mrs. Mary Baker, Ira W. Stottlemyer, all of this city; Mrs. John Justus, Baltimore, and Mrs. Mabel Kehne, Red's Mill; one brother, Webster Stottlemyer, Boonsboro. Ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The body rests at the funeral home, 106 East Church street where friends may call after 7 o'clock, this evening. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Mount Olivet cemetery. M. R. Etchison and Son funeral directors.
