Nancy Jane Hargrave was born as the daughter of John Robert Hargrave Jr. and wife Nancy Jane Talburt Hargrave. She was the granddaughter of John Robert, Sr., Revolutionalry War Patriot, and Kathryn McNeil Hargrave and Frederick Benton and Elizabeth Wilhoit Talburt, Sr.

Nancy Jane Hargrave married Jesse H. Wolf, son of Major Jacob and Elizabeth Lantz Wolf. She was born in Baxter County and lived all of her life in that area of Arkansas.

She was the mother of nine children, five of which lived to adulthood.

Family history indicates that she and four of the children could be buried in the John Pierce Wolf Family Cemetery. No headstones are in tact as a bulldozer backed into the site before realizing it was a cemetery. The most visible evidence is the different flowers that appear to be marking different spots in the small area.

This cemetery was surveyed in 1978 by Bob Bounds and found to be the site for 8 burials. The big tree beside the place for the house, up the hill was still standing in 2003 and 2008 when family members visited the site.

Her husband has a CSA memorail marker in the Wolf Family Cemetery as no proven burial site has been determined.
