BARKER, Richard Michael
Born December 4,1955. God called him to his side on May 25, 2010. Mike was born in Mansfield, Ohio to Richard L. Barker and Ruby C. Barker deceased. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lisa Barker, 3 children, Brandy Reese of Montrose, Calif., Monica Poffinbarger, of Palmdale and Eric Barker of Lancaster, 6 grandchildren, Andrew Barker, Justin Poffinbarger, Steven Poffinbarger, Jayme Reese, Maegan Reese,Shelbi Poffinbarger brothers John Barker of Galion, Ohio, George Barker of Chino, Calif., sisters, Genitta Barker of Columbus, Ohio, Teresa Baldwin of Galion, Ohio, Vickie Farranto of Lancaster. He was the loving Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mike worked in Telecom for over 30 years recently as General Manager for Telamon Technologies and the co-owner of Trackside 30 Galion, Ohio. Mike also worked as a loan consultant for Yarrow C21. Mike loved life and always saw the good in people, he loved playing golf with his friends, and spending time with his family. He was a very compassionate man and will be deeply missed by everyone's lives that he touched. Viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy, Lancaster Chapel. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June, 2, 2010, at Lancaster Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Lancaster District Cemetery.
