Starred in the 1932 World Series for the Cubs. In the 1932 World Series Bud pitched 3 shutout winnings against the NY Yankees. He struck out Babe Ruth.
Father was Arthur Tinning. Siblings were Mabel, Marie, Oger and Dewey.
Bud's mother was from the Pioneering Allison family of Stanton City, Nebraska. She died when he was 2. Married Inez Barnett of Terre Haute in 1932. Bud died of a heart attack. He had no children.
