Mrs. Vespher Bostick Woods, 82, of Flintville died Tuesday morning in Humana Hospital, Huntsville after a lengthy illness.
The funeral was Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home, the Rev. Terrall Bain and the Rev. Ed Johnson officiated, burial in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Woods was a native of Lincoln County, daughter of the late Arthur B. and Flora Alberta Bostick. Her husband, the late Thomas S. Woods, died in 1972. She was a member of the Smithland Community Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Emogene Taylor and Mrs. Faye Walker, both of Fayetteville and Mrs. Elaine Powell of Wake Forest, N.C.; two sons, Ray Woods of Huntsville and Orville Woods of Flintville; a brother William J. Bostick of Decherd, Tn.; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
