The funeral for Frances (Susan) Doyle, 54, Wahpeton, N.D., will be Monday, March 31, at 2 p.m. at the Wahpeton Health Care Center Chapel. She died Wednesday, March 26, 1997, at St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge, MN.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the Health Care Center. Interment will be in Silent Vale Cemetery, Maine, Minn. Vertin-Munson Wahpeton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Frances (Susan) Ann Doyle was born Jan. 12, 1943, to Raymond and Ann (Byrud) Doyle in Valley City, N.D. She grew up in Kenaston, N.D., and moved to Grafton, N.D. as a youth where she lived for 38 years. She later moved to Wahpeton, where she resided at 808 Sixth St. S., before moving to Wahpeton Health Care Center.
Frances enjoyed puzzles and in particular word search. She also was fond of TV games and was very good at making latch-hook rugs. Above all, Frances enjoyed her relationships with her many friends and acquaintances.
She is survived by her mother, Ann Doyle, Morris, Minn.; two brothers, John (Patty), Eagan, Minn.; Patrick (Shirley) Doyle, Columbia Heights, Minn.; and a sister-in-law, Carol Doyle, Mound, Minn.; twin nephews, Paul Doyle, Mound, Minn.; and David Doyle, Royal Oak, Mich.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother James and her father, Raymond.
